Passed 15 years since the founding of the winery, we decided to create a wine that is the pure essence of Vermentino di Sardegna.
Ventou de Ma (“Sea Wind”) is born: sea wind, the strong wind that cools in summer and swells waves during winter, isolating Carloforte from the rest of the world .
In these conditions grow the grapes of a well selected parcel of vineyard, adapted to release the soul of Vermentino di Sardegna . The use of ungrafted vines on sandy soils does the rest : the scents are elegant and infinitely long.
Unmistakable characteristic of Vermentino is a vague bitter taste at the end, a reference to the peach pit or fresh almonds.
